Tomica, a proud DC native raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, has been a force in the fitness and wellness industry since 1987. She’s been featured in Heart and Soul Magazine, Bethesda Magazine, and on NBC4’s Your Health & Fitness Expo. With over 30 years of experience, Tomica has worn many hats—from managing government fitness programs for agencies like the IRS and FDA, to leading as a top-tier personal trainer at Equinox Bethesda.

After reaching the highest coaching level (Tier X) at Equinox, she stepped into entrepreneurship and launched TLC Training & Fitness. Tomica is a NASM-certified Personal Trainer, Level 1 USA Weightlifting Coach, Level 2 Precision Nutrition Coach, Certified Animal Flow Instructor, and Pre/Post-Partum Coach. She’s also trained to work with cancer survivors, especially those recovering from breast cancer—a cause that deeply fuels her mission.

Her training philosophy? “Move well, then move often.” Tomica leads by example, challenging herself physically as well as mentally, staying current through workshops and conferences, and encouraging her clients to aim for progress—not perfection.

    I was working out diligently but neglecting other parts of my wellness, such as diet and sleep. I was neglecting the uncool aspects of working out like stretching and only focused on getting bigger muscles.
